Our Story
A place to connect
with Krishna
ISKCON Palghar is a spiritual center dedicated to sharing the timeless teachings of Bhagavad-gita and the devotional path of bhakti-yoga as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
The temple is home to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Gokul Behari. It welcomes visitors, devotees and spiritual seekers to experience darshan, kirtan, prasadam, festivals and opportunities for devotional service.
Situated in Vrindavan Nagri, Palghar East, opposite the railway station, the temple serves as a center of spiritual culture and community for the Palghar district and surrounding areas.

Srila Prabhupada
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1966 in New York City. He brought the ancient Vedic teachings of bhakti-yoga — the path of loving devotion to Krishna — to the entire world.

Bhakti-yoga is the path of loving devotional service to Lord Sri Krishna. Through chanting, hearing, worship and service, one develops a direct relationship with Krishna.

The Vedic scriptures — Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, and Upanishads — offer a complete philosophy of life, explaining the nature of the self, the universe and the Supreme.

Every action performed for the pleasure of Krishna becomes a spiritual act. Seva — selfless service — purifies the heart and leads to liberation from material bondage.
